SAE Beginning Inventory

This video shares some essential steps in adding your start of ag education and beginning inventory of items that are part of your SAE projects. This covers adding items like market/show animals, feed, supplies, and veterinary medicine purchased before starting your agricultural education classes / FFA membership. This also covers adding in larger-valued items like machinery/equipment, breeding animals, buildings, and land that you own and will be used to support your SAE projects. You can also use this area to add in any beginning loans or, very importantly, your beginning cash (bank acct.) used to support your SAEs. These balance sheet values will create your beginning values for your balance sheet and will then be updated as you create SAE records.
